Our history:
We started the Mondays “Singing is Fun” in the Westmount Community Center at VICTORIA HALL around in 1996 (20 years ago!).
And since, we have continued our Monday workshops with the five of us to develop our singing technics and share it with music lovers.
Our Monday workshops had been our oasis of melodies of peace, joy and laughter; while enjoying our singings we continued developing our large repertory of songs.
Our group signature :
‘Creative Singing‘
Each singer has her solo songs and the other singers sing some short parts of the song ( sometimes as back vocals and more often through dialogs, sounds and sometimes through improvisations) offering interesting dynamism and feelings to the song!
All the songs are artistically reorganized by Ira Sokolova and her piano , and upon the character of the songs are interpreted by our different our voices/ timbers!
