It was in 2010 or 2011 at Victoria Hall where I met Mania...she had an exhibition of her paintings which attracted me right away...very interesting deep rich colors brought me somewhere where I belonged and could swim in like a fish...I looked up and saw one of the sweetest and most beautiful faces I had ever seen in my life...so, pleasant and in harmony with her painting, and so inviting where you could feel the sincerety of the Persian hospitality from its routes ...I felt at home in her paintings and a guest in her dept of he eyes...I discovered that Manya was teaching at Concordia University the
Myths of Ancient Mesopotamia and Iran
I was very busy, time was passing by....until one day walking toward the coffee shop on Victoria st., after doing tai-chi with my instructor Lew and taking some amazing photos of the beautiful icy morning of winter shining thanks to the most generous lighting of the beautiful morning blue layer of the sun light ...
we were attracted by a beautiful frozen plant hanging in the small terrace of one of the cute victorian houses on Victoria Village...
and while taking pictures, our eyes were beautifully stopped on the window of the front door of this house where two lovers with sweet faces were watching us, the man holding the woman so tenderly...
It could not be real, they looked like a musium painting melted in window glace through the magical morning blue light ..
I said to Lew, 'do you think they would let us take a picture of them?
While smiling at them, showing our cameras and asking the permission for taking a photo...
(I would have stolen a photo anyways even if they would not have made the sweetest agreements by holding each other even closer reflecting the love & harmony between them...).
Lew's photos were amazing and he sent them to them and to me...my photos are somewhere and when find them, I will add them...
Then on Thursday' I met her and we talked...such a real and sweet personality...to be continued
